Another card shop opens in Thornbury
In St Mary’s Way, Thornbury (part of the St Mary Centre shopping complex) a card shop is being opened a short distance from the site of a (discount) card shop business that failed earlier in the year, and directly opposite an existing shop (which is part of a High Street chain). At the other end of St Mary’s Way (just visible) is a newsagents’s which has a large selection of cards too. The new shop takes over a larger unit which was also vacated earlier in the year with the closing of a pound shop. It would not be my idea of a sensible location for such a business.
